This is a hat I purchased to restore and I really didn't know what I was getting. Turns out its a very nice soft lightweight felt, possibly beaver mix with rabbit or even pure beaver it is that nice. I have restiched, cleaned and dyed the sweatband, stitched the grosgrain and throroughly steamed/cleaned and reshaped the hat.
